Why buy ex-corporate refurbished I.T. equipment?
The obvious reason first — it's usually far less expensive than buying new! Plus, you get equipment that a couple of years ago cost £000s but you'll now pay a fraction of the price for a professionally refurbished version that is as robust and durable as it ever was. This option is particularly attractive to business customers who recognise the value in brands such as IBM or HP. We liken the decision to that faced by a new car buyer; do you buy a brand new Ford Ka or Nissan Micra or a three year old BMW or Mercedes? The decision is yours!
Does "refurbished" mean that the units were broken?
NO!! The refurbished products on offer are mostly taken from an office desk (with permission of course!) in working condition.

There are many reasons for buying refurbished kit ranging from a business's requirement for consistency in equipment to a savvy home user simply wanting to make their pounds go that much further. The build quality on our corporate refurb units is exceptional - particularly the IBM T60 and X60 ranges!

Where do the products come from?
Some products are sourced from large corporate businesses. They are then, "refurbished" ... which essentially means they are completely wiped of any data, then health checked, cleaned, checked again and graded depending on the wear and tear. Some products are returns from large retail chains, or even the manufacturer, which again have been through stringent checks before shipping.
What is in the box?
This of course depends on what you buy and our products will generally have explicit instructions on what is included. If it isn't declared as included then it probably isn't ... but if you are unsure in any way please email us.
As a general rule manuals are not included, but can usually be downloaded from the manufacturer’s websites
What comes installed?
Where an operating system is installed this will be stated on the item, where no mention of an operating system is made, one will not be installed.
Important: PC/Laptops will not be pre-loaded with MS Office applications such as Word/Excel.
Battery life?
Batteries are tested and confirmed as accepting a charge, we cannot guarantee the battery life of supplied batteries and any overall guarantee does not include the battery.
What warranty is included?
As standard on almost all products we provide a sixty-day warranty, as well as the remainder of the manufacturer's warranty [if available]. Further warranty information may be included in the product description.
How can I pay?
At present, all payment is by cleared cheque.
