Have a Spare PC Lying Around? Windows 8 is available now in a consumer beta version. Try installing the Consumer Review of Windows 8. BTW don't install on a production PC or a PC where you need to keep current data and programmes as the installation may wipe your hard drive before installing Windows 8

Windows 8 is set to arrive fully in October. Microsoft will finish Windows 8 this summer, with the official launch in October, according to reports. Tablets and laptops running the new OS will launch at that time, according to unnamed sources.
